Mr. Thirunavukkarasu

Actor · Theatre Director · Mentor

Thirunavukkarasu is an accomplished actor and theatre director, celebrated for his finest contributions to theatre and cinema. Renowned for directing theatre institutions, he has left a profound impact on the arts through both performance and leadership.

An alumnus of esteemed institutions such as the National School of Drama (NSD), NINASAM, and American College, he also attended a UNESCO workshop to further refine his craft. His notable screen work includes Sevappi (2024), Vaaitha (2022), Kamala, and Salam Venky (2022).

He has also appeared in the web series Ranjish Hi Sahi (2022) and the Britannia Biscafe ad campaign (2023), bringing a rare combination of stage discipline and screen sensitivity into the classroom.

Ponmudi Thirumalasamy is a seasoned film professional with a multifaceted career as a director, actor, and acting coach. Coming from a prestigious cinematic family, he carries forward a rich legacy while making his own distinct mark in the industry.

With over two decades of experience spanning films, theatre, and short-form storytelling, his contributions have been both creative and educational, earning him respect across the artistic community.

Alongside his directorial ventures and acting career, Ponmudi has been deeply committed to training aspiring performers. Through his acting academy, he has mentored more than 150 students, guiding them toward professional success in theatre and cinema.

As one of our Acting Masters, he continues to inspire with discipline, vision, and passion for the craft, shaping the next generation of talent with a balance of tradition and innovation.
